Sai fraternity from Karnataka scripted a beautiful evening of SAI VALUES on the sidelines of a 2-day Parthi Yathra by the State contingent here, in Prasanthi Nilayam today. The session featured a prize distribution ceremony for the State-level Essay Writing Competition followed by a Dance Drama presentation by the Bengaluru Balvikas.
Annual Essay Writing Competition was organized in September 2015 at Junior college level to inculcate the ideals of Bhagawan among the youth fraternity. Ten winners were presented special awards in the evening. The winners were: Kum Priya Rajan Hegde, Kum Aisha Mohammmed Altaf, Kum Bhavya Dattatreya Hegde, Kum Varnitha HN, Kum Suma KS, Kum Pooja HM, Kum Akshata Jain, Master Sukesh KB, Master Vrushabendra and Master Mustafa. Master Mustafa, a differently abled student then publicly demonstrated his ‘special ability’, scripting with a pencil, clasped firmly between his right-leg toe and middle finger, Bhagawan’s message - “Aum Sai Ram – Love All Serve All”. Another differently abled student Master NKL Tejas was also honoured during the occasion.
Balvikas children from Bengaluru then presented a Musical Dance Drama – “Pavitra Jal”, a portrayal of the Holy Elixir – Water, one of the ‘life-inducing’ 5-elements of creation. The presentation focused on the legend of sacred Ganges of the North and River Kaveri, the ‘Southern Ganges’ that runs through the south of India. Referring to the human ‘dispute’ over the Kaveri water and the sad plight of the Ganges, which is left polluted by human misdeeds, the presentation ended with pinning greater hopes and complete reliance on Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai, Who has descended as the Shiva – Shakthi Avatar in the present age. Beautiful dance and song sequences spiced up the half-an-hour value-oriented presentation. The drama was originally conceived and directed by Late Smt. Nallu Ganapathi from Bengaluru, who was often ‘fondly’ referred to as ‘His director’, by Bhagawan Himself.
The session progressed with bhajans by the Karnataka contingent and concluded with Mangala Arathi at 1820 hrs.
