SSE Conference summary presentation and Sarva Dharma Choir

Marking the valedictory function of the 3-day Sai Spiritual Education Conference, SSIO, Sathya Sai International Organizations, presented an evening of reminiscence of Sai’ Love… expressing Gratitude here in Prasanthi Nilayam today.

The programme commenced with brief overview of the conference proceedings, shared by Ms. Katinka van Lamsweerde and Ms Berniece Mead, National Education Coordinators for The Netherlands and the United States respectively.

Speaking first, Ms Katinka gave a comprehensive summary of the conference, a reminder of the power and beauty of the spiritual tool called Sathya Sai Education.  Briefly touching upon various segments of the conference, with a special mention of the networking fare for delegates, Ms Katinka in her concluding remark identified the areas of special attention, that being, the Importance of LOVE, Teacher’s COMMITMENT drawing inspiration from the conference, to inculcate FAITH in the teachings of Bhagawan and the need to CONNECT to children.

Ms Berniece Mead, a longstanding and outstanding Sai Educationist, spoke of the mysterious God’s hand that led her to Lord Jesus first,  at the age of 15, and then to Sri Sathya Sai later… Delivering a short but sweet, full of charm and wit, Ms Mead concluded singing a soulful “Love Is My Form… Truth Is My Breath…”.

Dr Srinivasa Raghavan from the United States then strummed his guitar, singing, reproducing the Conference theme song “You Are My Everything Dear Swami…, You Are My Loving Lord Of All…, I See You… I See You… I See You In One And All…”, an apt dedication of Love and Gratitude to Bhagawan, recalling His message of Oneness.

Devotees from Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia then presented a Sarvadharma Choir, ably conducted by Ms. Maria Quoos from Poland. Squatting facing the Sanctum Sanctorum, the group of men and women in blue ribbon scarves, women with white headband, demonstrated, what is Unity as experienced by a heart with Purity that practices - His precepts.

Representing varied religion, singing the theme of Universal Religion, the group with awakened spirit of Love and Oneness sang in voice unison, echoing“ The Language of LOVE…” presenting a string of hymns in praise for The One God, sung in Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Hebrew, Jewish and English etc. The evening turned twilight rejoiced every bit in The Unending Supreme Splendor of LOVE as SRI SATHYA SAI.

A final number “Om Shanti Om…” as per the Indian tradition marked the grand finale of the exuberant devotional evening, well received by a euphoric august assembly that went into rapturous applause in appreciation.

Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi at 1905 hrs.
