The rare privilege of being ‘Complete Balvikas’ has been conferred upon hundreds of graduands in the immediate Divine OmniPresence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai during the 6th All India Balvikas Convocation this morning in Prasanthi Nilayam. Balvikas is that tiny sapling planted by the Divine Hands in 1969 that has grown into a gigantic tree at 50 this year, aiming at global transformation through individual transformation.
Recalling his early memory of golden Balvikas in His immediate Divine Presence decades ago, remembering the stalwarts and pioneers of the Movement handpicked by Bhagawan 'HimSelf', Sri Nimish Pandya, All India President of SSSSO, speaking over hailed the grant Movement as the one and only one that would ensure happiness and peace for the whole world. If Bhagawan Is The Only Master for the entire fraternity, we all need to embrace that expansiveness of our Bhagawan, reminded the AIP.
A postal stamp with inscribed Balvikas logo by the Ministry Posts and Telecommunications, Govt. Of India, commemorating the golden jubilee was released during the occasion.
Sri Rajeev Bindal, Hon'ble Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Assembly during his address next hailed the incomparable experience of being a witness to the grand golden jubilee celebrations. 'I am short of words to appreciate the work and transformation done by Sri Sathya Sai Baba and the Balvikas Movement during the last fifty years', said the speaker in admiration, thanking the golden moment that he was being a part of.
The benediction ceremony next was followed by the convocation address by Dr. Teerakiat Jereonsettasin, Minister Of Education, Government Of Thailand.
Education is meant for life, not for living, said the Minister acknowledging the importance of practical knowledge and fundamental discrimination to become a true human being. Recalling the precious lessons learnt at Bhagawan's Lotus Feet during his moulding days, the Minister spoke about the 3HV's, synchronicity between thought, word and deed, reminding the graduands of the essence of education that being concentration, as identified by Bhagawan 'HimSelf'. A few hours of Balvikas during the weekends are education for life identified the hon'ble minster advising the young graduands to remember Bhagawan first followed by the task ahead sans any attachment to the fruits of action. Detachment is deep attachment to God and attachment is detachment from God, recalled the minister as taught by Bhagawan, advocating intensity and continuity to be successful in any mission.
