Athi Rudra Maha Yagna, 2015, - Day 5

Brindavan, Whitefield,  Bengaluru - 05 03 2015

The Athi Rudra Maha Yajna is being conducted for “Loka Kalyana”, for the good of entire mankind as well as to ensure universal peace and prosperity. It is humanity’s great good fortune that such a grand Vedic ritual is being performed in a most selfless manner in the Divine Omnipresence of Bhagawan, the very embodiment of Siva-Shakti Form of Absolute Cosmic Energy in its entirety.

On 05 03 2015-Thursday, the 11-day holy ritual – Athi Rudra Maha Yajna at Brindavan, Whitefield, Bengaluru on the auspicious Hunnimae Tithi, Maka Nakshatra and the holy precincts continued to reverberate with the sacred chantings, alongside fire rituals in eleven sacred Homa kundas-sacred fire-pits.

The proceedings for the day commenced as early at 0530 hrs with resonating notes of Mangala Vadyam in the Divine Abode “Trayee Brindavan”.  The scene soon shifted to Sai Ramesh Hall with a palanquin procession carrying “Bhagawan” arrived at the holy Yajna Vedhi.

Mangala Vadyam continued at the Sai Ramesh Hall that was followed by holy recitations, Aruna Parayanam and Mahanyasa Parayanam, adhering to scriptural guidelines. These parayanams involve chanting of potent mantras, including those from the Sri Rudram, generating positive powerful vibrations. After bhajans at 0730 hrs the pre-lunch session continued with routine rituals, namely, Panchamrutha Abhishekam, Sri Rudra Parayanam, Sri Rudra Abhishekam, Sri Rudra Homan and Sai Gayathri Homam.

Ashtavadhana Seva, traditional Mangalam song and Maha Mangala Arathi marked the end of the morning proceedings.

In the evening session featured a talk by Prof K Anil Kumar followed by a ‘Sampradaya Bhajan’ session by Dr R Ganesh & team. Delivering a sprightly session, Dr Ganesh’s selections for the evening comprised a varied mix of South Indian devotionals interspersed with Sai Bhajans, sung in customised style. Dr Ganesh was accompanied by Sarvasree Aravind, Praveen and Sai Prasasnthi on Mridangam, Tabla and Harmonium alongside two of Ganesh’s disciples, rendering vocal support.

Bhagawan’s Divine discourse followed next, aired through the PA system. Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan marked the end of the day’s proceedings.
