"Dhai Akhar Prem Ka", Musical Drama by the Devotees of Rajasthan - Day 1

As part of Parthi Yathra on the first day, the devotees of Rajasthan today presented a Musical drama in Sai Kulwanth Hall entitled “Dhai Akhar Prem Ka” in Hindi.  The drama was based on the life and teachings of mystical poet and great saint of North India, Sri Kabirdas.

Sri Kabirdas opposed the idea of religion, which was overloaded with customs and rituals.  The teachings of the poet were very simple & universal and thus reached the masses, easily.   The Poet was of the opinion that the paths to the Divine were that of Service to Humanity, by coordinating the essentials of both Hindu and Muslim religions, he propounded the universal path.

The drama excellently displayed the character of Kabirdas, who in spite of being Muslim followed the teachings of a Hindu Guru Sri Ramananda.  The assembly of Audience was delighted by the profound message of the Saint, conveyed through the simple Dohas {Poems}.

Earlier, at 1650 hrs, Dr Manoj Batra, Vice President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations, Rajasthan, addressed and introduced the session, following the Veda Chanting from 1630 hrs.  Dr Manoj also elucidated about the presentations for the next two days in Sai Kulwanth Hall, as well the organizational activities that are being carried out at the state of Rajasthan, by the grace of Bhagawan Baba.

The life of Kabirdas, goes parallel with the Teachings and Messages of Bhagawan Baba – “There is only one Religion, the Religion of Love” and “Hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray”

Bhajans followed next and the Mangala Arathi at 1830 Hrs marked the end of proceedings of the day.
