Sathya Sai Seva Organizations brings into realty, a massive

20,000 Sq ft ‘Satya Sai Ghaat’ on the banks of River Ganga at Rishikesh

 

  • Initiative undertaken to provide safety and hygiene access for the tourists and pilgrims including residents
  • Launches Sri Sathya Sai Naam Sankeertan Sammelan to promote young musicians

 Dehradun/ Rishikesh/Hyderabad, 10th September 2016 – The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations India (SSSSO India) – a multi cultural international spiritual service organisation from Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh today inaugurated the Sri Sathya Sai Ghat from the hands of Sri Rathnakar - Trustee,Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and Sri Ravish Khanna, Convenor,Sri Sathya Sai Trust, UP and Uttarakhand. This initiative has been undertaken to provide safe and hygienic access to the tourists and pilgrims in order to take a dip in the pious river Ganga.

 

The 2nd day of the ongoing event kick-started with the Ekdasa- Rudra- Abhishekham at the “Sri Sathya Sai Ghaat” by Sri Vedanarayan followed by ‘Sri Sathya Sai Paduka’ procession to the Sri Sathya Sai Ghat. The ‘Sri Sathya Sai Paduka’ was then installed at the Ghat by Shri Ratnakar, Trustee Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.  Later in the morning, the Shiv Murthi at North Prashanti Mandir was inaugurated followed by the welcome and brief history of the occasion by Shri Ravish Khanna, Convener Sri Sathya Sai Trust - Uttarakhand. The event also witnessed activities like inauguration of ‘Sri Sathya Sai Annual Naam Sankirthan Sammelan’ which is aimed at giving suitable platform to the young musicians in order to showcase their talent. The mesmerizing inaugural rendition was given by Prashanthi and Troupe which was later followed by the selfless Narayan Seva conducted by the volunteers.  

 

In the evening,  Sri Rathnakar - Trustee,Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and Sri Ravish Khanna, Convenor,Sri Sathya Sai Trust, UP and Uttarakhand inaugurated the statues of ‘MAA GANGA’ and ‘VISHNU MOORTH’ at the Sathya Sai Ghaat. The devotional concert by Bhajan Samrat Shri Anoop Jalota surpassed the other events as the audience thoroughly enjoyed his soulful performance. The event concluded with the Aartis and Bhajans which were conducted by the Shri Sathya Sai volunteers.

 

While inaugurating Sri Sathya Sai Ghat, Sri Rathnakar - Trustee,Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and Sri Ravish Khanna, Convenor,Sri Sathya Sai Trust, UP and Uttarakhand expressed their utmost delight on the way the project had turned up. Now the Sathya Sai Ghat will be open for all without any entry restrictions. Also, announced that there wouldn’t be any commercial activities undertaken at the Sathya Sai ghat area and all the basic requirements will be completely aided by the Sathya Sai Seva Organizations India.”

 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nimish Pandya , All India President, SSSSO said that, “We would like to thank Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Sri Harish Rawat whole heartedly  for his extended support, without which the project wouldn’t have become a reality. This is a proud occasion for everyone as the 20,000 sq ft Shri Sathya Sai Ghat will immensely benefit people by providing access to safety and proper hygiene. This is aimed to reach lakhs of people who would want to taka a dip in the river Ganga.”
