HOLI Celebrations

The festival of Holi gets infused with holistic feelings in Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam. As the festival is on the anvil once again with hundreds of devotees from the 'twin-states' of Bihar & Jharkhand already camping in Prasanthi Nilayam, Balavikas children from the states offered a drama entitled 'Niswarth Prem' this evening at Bhagawan's Divine Lotus Feet.

Unveiling the significance of the holistic festivity, the presentation today began with an open Balavikas class, with the teacher imparting greater lessons to the tiny tots. Moving on, beginning with, the drama soon evolved into twin skits on the stories of Prahlada and Radharani highlighting on Namasmarana and Unconditional Love.

Where selfless love serves as a pointer to the human in his journey unto God, the story of Abu Ben Adam does earn the highest significance. The skit next was on this illustrious character, showing snippets from his 'selfless' life.

A skit on Pure, Unconditional, Selfless Love involving twin friends Anil and Sunil was the final programme of the evening.

With his best and brilliant friend Anil left to struggle, owing to his mother's illness, Sunil, a selfless boy with loads of value embedded in him, decided to sacrifice his reputation allowing himself to relegate in his studies and thus pushing Anil to the top slot, that he had been holding on the trot for seven long years. Finally, even as he revealed this selfless 'plot' to his concerned class teacher, the teacher was stunned beyond expression, who was inquisitively appreciative of the values the boy imbibed from the Sri Sathya Sai Balavikas classes. Having motivated himself, the teacher also finally offered his services dedicating to Sai. A group song in adoration of The Lord Supreme brought the curtain down for the evening's colourful presentation.

Mangala Arathi after bhajans marked the end of the evening proceedings.
