Aum Sri Sai Ram

Press Release by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust

January 13, 2017

Cultural Programme By Sri Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Learning - Anantapur And Muddenahalli Campus

An Anantapur College offering on the theme, Saiward Through Sai's Words, followed by a drama presentation by the Muddenahalli Campus featured this evening, on the 3rd day of the Annual Sports and Cultural Meet of Sri Sathya Sai Institutions here, in Prasanthi Nilayam.

The first presentation by the Anantapur Campus entitled Saiward Through Sai's Words was a multimedia offering illustrating man's journey unto Him, unto Swami, following His precepts, Bhagawan's teachings.

The presentation beautifully decoded the who and what of God narrating on the major impediments that block man from his Ultimate Goal, that being ego, illusion, etc, in his God-ward Journey.

Summarising man's journey to the grand finale, the presentation this evening ensured in His Own Words that, man is never alone, but is ever surrounded by His Love in his journey of life. Proving this point the presentation narrated the famous story of Footprints On The Sands Of Time. The Anantapur girls ended with a reiterating commitment to Bhagawan echoing a united 'Forever Yours'.

Darshan - The True Vision, the drama by the Muddenahalli Campus that followed next came with a potent question 'Do You Need Eyes To See The Lord?' Narrating and illustrating Narayana, a God-fearing protagonist in the story for the evening, the drama attempted to unravel the answer for the question, answering from a broad expansive angle, saying a heart with love is enough to experience His Darshan.

In a dispute over a piece of land that he inherited from his father, the protagonist was in a fix, dragged to the court of law, fighting a legal case with his own rebellious son, ultimately to lose the case and thus the piece of land. A greater lesson was in the offing as Narayana in his hard way learnt  to 'let go' of the ephemeral, started experiencing Him, God, in everyone and everything around.

Man, in his short-sighted, myopic vision does not understand the Divine Play, that comes often with a hard-hitting message. Narayan, an introvert now, started decoding the Divine Play from a higher perspective, only to be finally led to the Ultimate Wisdom Of Oneness.

A couple of beautiful episodes from the life of Prahlada and Sri Ramakrishna as flashbacks, with potent messages of true devotion and ultimate vision, enhanced the beauty of the evening presentation.

The drama ended with a group song in love of Swami.

Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan at 1845 hrs.

Even as the crowd was about to disperse, the Muddenahalli batch thundered with an 'off the cuff' WE LOVE YOU SWAMI.
