Prasanthi Vidwan Mahasabha – Day 2

A speech by Kum Isha Sai of the Anantapur Campus and a Musical Offering by the Brindavan Campus featured Day-2 session of the Prasanthi Vidwan Mahasabha,in the evening, at Prasanthi Nilayam today.

Commencing the proceedings Ms Isha Sai first referred to the inner significance of Devi Navarathri festival, that being realising the Atmic Principle.

Condensing snippets of wisdom from various sacred inscriptions, the speaker then elaborated on the Jnana Yajna of human sojourn, jeevatma’s eternal journey seeking the true reality.

Ananda is what every embodied being seeks, at birth, in living and in death, said the speaker quoting the Taittiriya Upanishad.  Elucidating further on the elated theme, Ms Isha then briefly touched upon the norms of spiritual disciplines laid down by the Masters and ancient scriptures, for man to practise, and become perfect.

Explaining what Bhagawan has spoken about the Atmic Principle, the speaker urged the assembly to seek Bhagawan with the rich Divine experience each one has in possession, asserting with conviction that GOD IS...

Bhagawan’s Divine discourse followed next, aired in the public address system. Reminding the students of their slothful attitude with reference to Atma Jnana, Bhagawan then spoke about the societal norms, elaborating on Paapa Bheeti, Daiva Preeti, Sangha Neeti. Bhagawn ended His Divine discourse with the bhajan “Sathyam Jnanam Anantam Brahma...”.

Soaking the colourful twilight into the bliss of devotional ecstasy, students from the Brindavan Campus then presented a soulful musical session of solos, group songs and instrumental numbers that included an inciting “Chalo Bulawa Aaya Hain...” on Mother Divine, “Bho Shambho Swayambho...” - an instrumental ensemble, etc. at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet.

Bhajans next concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan at 1820 hrs.
