On the second day of Tiruvallur District Parthi Yatra, a garland of Namasankirtana was offered by Sri Kovai S. Jayaraman. He is blessed to be born in a family of Bhagavata. In his formative years, he learnt music from his mother and later from Sri B. M. Sundaram, a great musicologist. The Tamil Nadu Namasankirtan Trust has conferred him the title Namasankirtan Shironmani. Sri Jayaraman began his Namasankirtan concert with “Jai Jai Rama Krishna Hari”, he then followed it up with the famous number “Prabho Ganapate Paripurana Vazhvarulvaye”.

“Sai Ram Sai Ram Padalgalale Geetanjali Poomalare Pushpanjali”,
The famous Bhadrachala Ramadas composition “Nannu Brovamani Cheppave”,
"Annara Vinnara Anathanathuni Chusara”,
A few Marathi Abhangs which included the evergreen number “Rangamma Pahi Rangamma”.
The decorated singer ended his concert with the Bhajan “Devasenapate Skanda Subrahmanya Pahi Maam”. The artistes and his accompanists were felicitated during Bhajans and Prasadam was distributed to the entire gathering.
The two-day Tiruvallur district Parthi Yatra ended with Mangala Arati to Bhagawan.
