90th Birthday Week Long Celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu - Day 3, Morning
There won’t be a better speaker than Prof Anil Kumar when it comes to verbalizing something substantial on Bhagawan, especially on the eve of His birthday, with a poetic vernacular flavor. The celebrity translator of Bhagawan has always been Bhagawan’s ‘pick’ to lift the spirits (of devotees) up, deliberating on the magical ‘unknown’ charm of The Supreme Lord.
As the Birthday fervor gets into a higher gear with every throbbing moment here in this spiritual township, this morning Prof Anil Kumar addressed the august assembly, delivering an exhilarating speech at Sai Kulwant Hall, in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Beginning with elucidating on Sai Mahima and Sai Vaibhavam, the learned speaker soon drifted into a self-prepared Question & Answer mode, clearing off some of the general doubts in the devoted fraternity.
“Recognizing the Divinity in one’s own self is the quintessence of Bhagawan’s teachings” said Anil Kumar speaking on the essence of Sathya Sai. Reflecting on the truth of Oneness, Prof Anil Kumar made it clear that Conscience represents the individual self and Consciousness represents the Universal Self; both are one and the same.
Bhagawan is universal in nature and belongs to everyone without any reservations. ‘If someone thinks that I am closer to Swami… it is Himalayan Blunder and Oceanic Ignorance’, quipped Prof Anil Kumar.
On the EHV front, the speaker said that human beings have to be reminded that they are humans, where as the entire nature and entire creation is duty-bound, behaving and delivering, adhering to its dharma and status properly. As human turns to be inhuman there is the need for Education in Human Values.
Sathya Sai Education is on a spreading spree, and governments and leaders around the world are showing greater interest in inculcating the spirit of Sathya Sai model of education, recounted the speaker, sharing the collective global mood on the role model, epochal educational system.
Sai Is The Way and Sai Is The Goal… exclaimed the spirited speaker, concluded his inspirational rhetoric.
Prof Anil Kumar had a long stint with the SSSIHL, served as Principal at the Brindavan Campus, Whitefield, as well at the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus, as a faculty with the Dept of Bio-Sciences.
Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi at 0930 hrs.
