Gratitude Programme by Students of Brindavan Campus, SSSIHL
The Students of the Sri Sathya Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) continued with the scheduled programme of farewell offering of memories of Gratitude to Bhagwan, this evening at Sai Kulwant Hall. The final year students of Brindavan Campus, SSSIHL seized this opportunity to convey their Gratitude to their beloved Swami (Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba).
They commenced their offering, Smaranavitam, by narrating personal incidences with Swami, both in English and the vernacular. Stories of miraculous cures by Bhagawan Baba, of His Divine guidance and above all, the hope and Love that only He can give, but which ultimately leads to personal transformation for both the students and their families, brought heartfelt memories of His love to all.
A traditional dance routine and talks then followed, after which the Brass Band of the campus played a few tunes often played in Swami’s presence, much to the delight of all devotees. This was followed by a series of anecdotes, loving poems.
The innocent and pure devotion of the students for Swami enthralled the audience as they bid farewell to their time at SSSIHL, ready to step out into the world equipped with His Love and everlasting Grace.
The words ‘We love you Swami’ in chorus then filled the Hall. They were a fitting end to the presentation. This was followed by Bhajans, while a variety of bouquets and cards were being offered to Swami. The evening came to a close at 6:50 p.m. with Mangala Aarati and prasadam distribution.
