Birthday Celebrations :

Devotees for Zone 4 and 5 of Sri Sathya Sai Organisations - Worldwide presented a  cultural evening marking the culmination of week-long celebrations of 87th Birthday of Beloved Bhagawan.

The first programme for the evening was by devotees from Japan, who presented a programme based on the them 'Blossoming Of Flower".  The programme commenced with a solo play on the traditional Japanese musical instrument made from bamboo. The song 'Sakura' was symbolic of Blossoming Of Flower; Sakura is one of the flowers most loved by the Japanese.

Next to come was a classical dance entitled 'Gion no Yoszkura', a depiction of the  blossoming of Cherry Blossom or Sakura,which is the Japanese national flower.They ended their programme by a group dance 'Sakura Sakura' symbolic displaying how small branches gather one by one to make a cherry blossom tree.  Making merry (Hangasa) Dance followed. Hangasa Dance is originally from Tohoku in Japan, the region that was worst affected by the Tsunami destruction. 

Presenting the unique Chinese theme, Filial Piety, virtue of respect to one's parents, Youth from Malaysia presented a fun-filling thematic drama, the final presentation for this year's birthday celebrations.

Showcasing five friends from different religious backdrops, who are out to organise a unique presentation at Bhagawan's Lotus Feet on the occasion of 87th Birthday, but confused about His Legacy, the presentation evolved to  a final declaration  that Devotees Are His Legacy...The presentation also highlighted Bhagawan's unique message of 'Matha Pitha Guru Daivaim' resonating with  the Chinese theme of Filial Piety...The presentation ended with the five friends declaring "Devotees Are His Legacy..and We Are Friends Forever In Sai.".
