Christmas has come! ...And along with came the story of the unmatched glory of the Heavenly Father and His Messenger Son - Jesus, heralding the Advent Of The Son. As the world over the grand occasion is being celebrated in gaiety and piety today, with unmatched extravaganza, Prasanthi Nilayam, the Supreme Abode Of The Heavenly Father set off in the day-break with its Christmas Drill in style, singing Carols at the Sanctum Sanctorum. The team of International singers sang 9 hymns, all in praise of the Father-Son-Duo.
Regular morning session at 0820 hrs commenced with a Violin Concert by the 'blooming buds' of Bhagawan's Primary School, playing a series of slow numbers. Marching forward, the ever vibrant Prasanthi Nilayam Band presented a scintillating display of Band-Music next, rocking the house with the beauty of Christmas splendour.
Serenading the Mighty Heavenly Father and His Heavenly Son, singing paeans, the Institute Music Band then presented a 45-minute programme, depicting the life of Jesus through hymns, interlaced with commentary, narrating the story of the glory of grand Christmas.
Lively backdrop interactions involving a Grand Father - Grand Son duo pieced together the story of the glory of the enigmatic Divine Advent in style. Even as the story-telling continued, evolving step-by-step with beautifully captivating narratives by the duo, students burst into singing glory unto Him, presenting an assortment of Christmas devotional numbers.
The numbers for the morning included, Santa Claus' Party, Shout To The North, Little Drummer Boy, I Will Follow to end with a 'open-heart' Thank You Lord... well received by the august morning audience with a round of 'unending' applause. Santa's appearance in multiple forms, to the accompaniment of an inciting Jingle Bells… Jingle Bells… Jingle All The Way... added fervour to the morning ecstatic ambience.
